Pretty spacious; much larger than other Starbucks. Usually, not many people sitting inside so you could easily find a good spot with power outlet. Always stop by for 15-20 min break while passing by. With plenty of parkings and wireless charge service for cell phone, I really enjoy the time staying here.

Now here's a place I love coming to. Why? Because it's Starbucks done right! It's big, it has great knowledge employees, fast service, little lines (unless school just released) and a lot of seating near outlets. These baristas are creative too! I'll ask them to create me a drink and with one simple question "hot or cold" they whip me up a unique creation. You can't trust every Starbucks to do such a thing! It's your lucky day if JoJo with a mustache can conjure up a drink for you, because you truly won't be disappointed by this Master's recipe. Bathrooms are big and clean. Chairs are comfy. What more can you ask for? Even outdoor seating...

I visited the store five hours ago and what an awful experience it was. I only wanted to make a quick purchase and leave. The transaction was smooth. Then my Starbucks card was accidentally dropped into the trash bin, which was three inches away from the napkin box. There were half full drinks in the trash bin and my card was wet after I picked it up. I handed the card to the barista and asked him if he could help clean it up. There was no line and they were not busy. A sink was only six inches away from him. But, the barista wanted me to use the bathroom and clean my Starbucks card myself. I saw other customers passing by toward the restroom. I asked him again "the restroom may be occupied, and could you just clean it for me (a sink is right next to you)". He started taking a sheet of paper napkin and everything looked fine. I could leave the store in 10 minutes after I came. But No. The other stuff behind the register stopped him and said that they couldn't clean something that I picked up from the trash bin. And his tone was the worst I even heard in years when visiting a shop. I explained that the trash bin was only three inches away from the napkin box (so it's easy to accidentally drop a card into the bin). He didn't listen. The following dialogues happened right after: (me) "Can I have your (badge)id and name"? ('the supervisor') "No" (me) "You can't give me your name?" ('the supervisor') "No" (me) "What's your title?" ('the supervisor') "Supervisor" (me) "How long have you been working here?" ('the supervisor') "Five years." I have been a customer of this store for five years and I never seen him once. Two years ago, one employee told the other then-new employee that I was a loyal customer. So I am pretty sure that I have been a long-time customers spending over hundreds over the years to the store. This was the first time in any place, that an employee, or a 'supervisor', refused to give me his name. Also, he lied about how long he had been worked here. Now 4:45pm, two minutes after the incident happened, while I was dialing Starbucks customer service phone number starting to complain, he was holding a cup of Starbucks drink one hand and his cellphone the other hand, walking out of the store. I tried to take a picture of him from behind as he refused to give his name earlier. One second he was back three feet away from you walking out of the coffee shop, the next second he was six inches away right next to you and scolding against you. Here is what's from him: ('the supervisor') "What do you want? (intimidating speaking tone)" ('the supervisor') "...This is my store (same tone)" ('the supervisor') "Go ahead and call (the headquarter)" I had to move a step back to keep a distance from him because of this employee's intimidating behavior. Well, I closed the camera app, telling him I was on my phone with Starbucks and walked away. That ended the incident. If you only hear him saying 'what do you want', you would think that a fight is coming soon after somewhere on the street, not an off-duty barista talking toward a customer in a Starbucks. If it happens again, I would still walk away from him. Rudeness and verbal brutality from him is not something I can deal with at the scene. After a call to Starbucks, I went back to the coffee shop. The other barista was able to give me the name without a problem. It seems to be an issue to the 'supervisor'. I obtained a case number and will keep it updated here. I consume Starbucks every week. The truth is I am going to continue visiting the store even after he is long gone. I see many baristas come and go in coffee shop stores. It is just an awful experience nobody wants to get. I hope Starbucks will train employees not to invent a policy arbitrarily on the fly to against a customer ; train employees to reveal their name when a customer requests; train employees to simply say 'would you take away your phone' instead of being intimidating. Do that and I could save me my precious time from complaining. Update 5/22 starts I talked to the manage IAN and Michelle last week, who were much nicer persons and cared about their customers. They said that they had talked to the employee to address the issue. Hopefully the future visits will show their efforts. I update the review from one star to three due to the meeting I have with the managers. Update 5/22 ends

One of the most spacious Starbucks I've been to. They've got plenty of room for working and customer traffic. I came before rush hour (early Thursday morning), and the barista was courteous and efficient. However, the self-serve station was splattered and sticky, which the staff definitely would have had time to clean considering how few customers there were.

I came in yesterday with a friend. The barista Joseph was very nice and attentive to our needs. Great customer service. He rang me up 3 times so I could get my 3 stars on my Gold member account that I have with them. Thank you so much! You are awesome Joseph! Keep up the good work!

I walked over here while I was waiting for my tire to get repaired at America's Tire. The store was pretty busy but they were getting through orders fast. I wanted a Smores Frapp but the syrup was not in stock so I opted for Caramel Ribbon Crunch. Overall service was solid despite missing putting my foldover in the oven (I wasn't in a rush, so I didn't mind. I understand the nature of food service and patience along with understanding are hard to find these days). It's a really big store with lots of seating and comfy chairs. It was a bit chilly inside for me so I opted to sit outside, there is a fountain which was nice.

Best Starbucks in Union City Large store with plenty of seating available for hanging out or studying. The place is fairly well-kept. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. The drinks consistently taste decent, which is good. I have yet to have problems with this Starbucks. Keep it up!

I have been here many times when I am in the area to go grocery shopping at Daiso Japan, Marina food mart or eat at restaurants nearby this area. cool feature to recharge your phone wireless with Powermat. The night staff is always consistent on high quality service and product.

I'm not a big fan of Starbucks to begin with, but I will go to one because of their consistency. I am interning here for the summer and am from out of state. I come to Starbucks to feel comfortable. However, at this Starbucks I do not feel that way. The baristas are very nice and the drinks are sub par as to be expected from a Starbucks. But once you get your drink your experience turns. The station with the cream and sugar is almost always messy and never full. It is 8:30 am on a Tuesday, and they don't have half & half out and it is visibly disorganized. The store is not busy so one of the employees could take the few minutes needed to clean it up. Next, the seating area. While nothing special about it, it trash does seem to linger. However I really do like the long table with the charging stations. Finally, the music. This is one thing I am pretty picky about in coffee shops. Half the time there is none , and the other half it is tecno dance or top 40. The beat is too fast for the time and for a relaxing easy going atmosphere. And they are playing it from a Bluetooth speaker from behind the counter, so when they are playing music the sound is very isolated, and varys in voulme. It should be just loud enough that if you pay attention you can hear it but quite enough that you can tune it out.

I went here with a friend not too long ago and since we dont get to see each other that much, we were talking, catching up and all that. Towards the end of our time there, one of the workers came up to us and told us that they were closing soon, so not wanting to be rude and hold up their closing time, we got up and quickly finished our drinks as we were walking towards the door and the trashcans and went outside and continued to talk by the fountain. The whole time we were at the fountain, more people came and left and we never saw anyone close up. We then went into the Round Table nearby, had a pizza and caught up even more. By the time we left Round Table, Starbucks was still open and people were still coming and going. We were tempted to go in and order another drink just to see what would happen, but we thought better of it and left. I'm not sure what happened but if we were talking too loudly, the guy that told us that they were closing soon could've just told us to quiet down a bit, we would have been more then happy to and even be apologetic for being too loud ...

This place has changed a lot since I've been here. There's so many Starbucks coffee shops so I don't have a main one I go to if I want coffee but I just got my nails done nearby and was craving coffee. Great atmosphere. I walked in and they moved a lot of things around and now it has so much space! It has a lot of small tables so people with laptops have privacy and can drink in peace. Great selection. They have a huge selection on mugs and to-go cups on the shelf. I got one yesterday and I already love it. Great and friendly recommendations. I didn't know what I wanted to drink so the girl (Ceci) at the register helped by asking me what I like. She recommended her favorite drink and now it's my favorite! It's an espresso frappacino or something. It doesn't matter, I'm sure I can go back in there and she'll help me again. Haha. Baked goods. I love Starbucks' petite vanilla scones but they didn't have any so I got this sunflower cookie because I love sunflowers. It wasn't that good but wouldn't stop me from choosing something else next time. Anyway, Starbucks makes me happy!

I always come here to just grab a coffee and go. Once in a while as I wait for my ride I'd wait. Today I am giving them just a star because as casual and accommodating Starbucks is, I still believe a place where food is sold that patrons should be decent and hygienic enough to not put their feet on the table. Should I commend him for at least keeping his socks on? It is really gross. We put our food on the table, for crying out loud. I told the barista about it and she just simple looked and went about her business. Calling the attention of management at this particular store. GROSS is the name of the day.

Very spacious and has ample seating compared to most Starbucks! Just make sure you come here before 3pm if you want to read or study. Starting around 3pm it starts to get flooded with teens since it is close to Logan highschool and they can be super chatty.

This is a great Starbucks with friendly staff and two large picnic style tables. The size is perfect for a coffee shop that sees a lot of traffic. It's a nice place to study, work, or hangout. It gets good sunlight and the wifi is pretty consistent. The staff is 5 stars. Tip: There's a high school nearby, so there's a regular rush when the students get out every day.

I usually like coming to this Starbucks location because the store is so spacious. The drinks I've gotten here have been pretty spot on. Their service has been great and they're usually pretty friendly :) This starbucks is hugeeee. There is so much seating available! Great place to work from or to just sit and relax. definitely recommend this location if you want to work and enjoy a cup of coffee!

Staff here is always nice and friendly. Tons of space inside, a few outdoor options. The fountain in the common area is nice during sunny days to enjoy your coffee. I have always received my ordered and it has always tasted like I expected.

Seriously, this is one of my favorite Starbucks ever, when I go on a good day. Never, I REPEAT NEVER GO HERE on the weekdays after 3pm, it is going to cost you a long line with no place to sit. I prefer going here in the morning during the weekends, because I have free time. When you go to this Starbucks, you'll be in for nice baristas as well as a lot of space. I have been to the Union Landing Starbucks as well as the Starbucks near Wal-Mart and Rasputin Music, and this Starbucks in Union City has much more space. Recommendations: -The quality of food and drink here is standard at any Starbucks. -Baristas are really nice, with really positive attitudes. -Go during the morning any day, but NEVER GO HERE at 3pm on a weekday, ESPECIALLY DURING HAPPY HOUR aka FRAPPY HOUR. :)

The staff is nice with a smile on their faces for most of the time, but the service needs improvement. Being less chatty either between them or with the customers would help speed up the service. For that reason alone, I prefer to go to Starbucks at Safeway. No line, no wait!

Compared to all the other Starbucks stores I have been to, this store has been the worse one. I ordered a vanilla bean frappuccino from here, and it was not the best. It was bland and watery. I also ordered a hot chocolate, and it was too bitter! The service is okay since I received my drinks pretty quickly. Also, there is a large area of chairs and tables to enjoy your drinks and pastries. Overall, I will not be returning after my experience from here.

My wife has gone here a number of times over the years (I usually tag along like a faithful puppy- one in desperate need of a bath). On Friday she tried a Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refreshers Beverage (it just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?). A Grande is $3.45. We both noticed the stark changes inside (this location must have been renovated within the past year). It's much more spacious here now (the old layout was kind of poor), and it's also a bit brighter (this place looked like a dungeon before- all that was missing were whips, chains, and tormented screams). The seating is a mix of hard and soft furniture (there's even more of a modern look now than before). Although I like most of the new pieces (some of them look out of place), dark colors were chosen, and so it's still not terribly cheerful inside. The baristas are friendly and pretty quick (another plus is that there are typically 3 or 4 around). On Friday, though, the one calling out drink orders was pretty quiet. Still, when you have customers hovering around like hawks (this is typically the case), it doesn't matter (it always makes me laugh how hard up people are for their drinks). The wait time for drinks is normally about 2 minutes. This place attracts a lot of jailbait. I'm not complaining, though. Oh no. I mean, the girls have to go somewhere, right? Hehehe. In general, a lot of teens hang out here (James Logan High School is just a few blocks away), but they're fairly quiet and cool. 4 kinds of newspapers are sold here (I was surprised on Friday to see that most of them were sold out). The daily (weekday) versions of 2 of them are $1 (it's $2 for The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times). The Sunday edition of The New York Times is $6 (I'm sure that it's big enough to knock someone out with). The breakfast items and muffins here are promoted more now (everything seems appealing). Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refreshers Beverage: 7/10. yelp.com/biz_photos/star… . My wife was pleased overall, but doesn't plan on ordering one again. She only tried one because she was intrigued after she saw a coworker with one. My wife substituted water with lemonade, and her beverage featured a fair number of blackberries. This is a very solid location (largely due to a lack of space, I had to give another one 3 stars). You'll probably be pleased if you go here. youtube.com/watch?v=2P_Z…

My previous job took me all around the Bay, and as a result I've visited my fair share of Starbucks locations. This Union City location is the best Starbucks in the Bay so far! Why? - It has a well-balanced work/social atmosphere. I've found it to be an ideal spot for studying, working, relaxing, and/or socializing. With other places it's hard to find that balance, as a cafe's overall vibe will lean more in one of those directions; with this place, it just comes together and you'll find much diversity in the clientele. - It's spacious with ample seating. Tables (w/ outlets), loveseat, arm chairs, bar stool style, outdoor seating-- something for everyone. Because the floor size is larger than most other locations, there are plenty of places to sit that are away from all the noises coming from the barista stations. - The whole front portion of the store is all full length windows with a view of the mini courtyard area and and fountain pool. Perfect view of a rainy day or for people watching when the weather is nice. - The baristas are super friendly and love to converse when they can. I really like to hear them carrying a conversation and having a good time with the customers. It really boosts the sense of community. - The drinks are consistent, as well as the service. I've never had issues with any the two. If there was anything I could change about this place, it would be the hours. 8:30/9pm is too early for closing. Wish they opened until at least 10pm. Other than that, this place is just great, one of my favorite things about Union City.

Never in my life have I ever posted something on yelp. I walked into this location at about 11:15 pm last Thursday with five of my cousins from the Philippines. The light-skinned Asian girl who was taking orders immediately reacted to us walking in right before closing. I'm not really sure what she said but by her facial expressions and the gasps she made, I knew she wasn't happy about the last minute rush. I'm sorry that we were trying to get some Starbucks because we had to stay up to make a slideshow for our grandmother who passed away earlier that morning. I'm sorry that my family members who are from another country take a little longer to think about what they would like to drink versus Americans who might have lived in America perhaps all their lives. My cousins finally decided on what they wanted after about 3 minutes, so the Asian girl began to take our order. Because of her frustration I heard her say "I'M GONNA CUT SOMEONE" under her breath to one of her guy coworkers who was assisting her in getting drinks ready for us. I found this behavior completely unacceptable. It's disrespectful to treat your PAYING CUSTOMERS like this. Again, mind you that we were getting coffee to prepare a slideshow for my dead grandma. I know at times it could be crazy and all you really want to do is to get off work, but people need to be mindful on what they say, how they say it, and who's actually paying attention. If you don't like your job, then quit or tell your boss that you don't like working closing shifts. Being the older cousin and the one cousin who actually grew up in the Bay, I usually would react in a situation like this, but because I was the grandson who stayed up with my grandma throughout the whole night until she passed, I had no type of energy whatsoever. Put yourself in my shoes for a second. If your family is from another country that don't speak English, or don't speak it very well, you would probably feel the same way I feel after hearing these types of words coming from a mouth of a Starbucks "BARISTA." I love coffee from Starbucks and I usually visit the Starbucks on Foothill in Hayward a few times a week. Never have I ever experienced such a negative visit as I did last Thursday. I work two jobs one in food and one in insurance and our number one priority is our customer. You can't expect to hold on to customers by treating them this way. Without customers, you don't have a job, you don't have a company, and you don't have anything.

I asked for my usual and the girl never looked at me until I asked for more ice then she rolled her eyes. Was about to ask her (Daniella) was something wring and she put my cup down and walked away. If you're having a bad day, suck it up. If you're having a bad life don't work for Starbucks! Won't be coming back. There us no better Starbucks than the one on The Marina in San Leandro! My daily grind...

One of the best Starbucks in the Bay Area. Great environment and the staff are very friendly. And not just one or two but a couple. The drinks are well made and they're really nice in terms of suggestions if you want to try something new. If you ask for ice water or something as well, they definitely don't skimp on giving you a smaller size either. A little far for me, but I've driven further just to go to this Starbucks. This and the one across from Ohlone College are definitely my favorite Starbucks locations.

Just like any other to be perfectly honest. Staff is upbeat and friendly, and always quick to take and make your order. Drinks are the same, I usually stick with iced coffee (black) or espresso because I can't stand all the pumps of syrup they add. Good location to get some work done with calm jazz music in the background haha. Cheers!

I am just going to say something short and sweet about this one Starbucks ! This place is the SH%T!!! These guys go above and beyond for my family especially for my 5yr old daughter ! This is probably my favorite Starbucks location. It is quite large and spacious, perfect place to study but I do warn you, it gets pretty crowded and noisy after 3:30 (When Logan kids swarm their entire store). Nevertheless, the baristas are super sweet and friendly. They alway make my drinks perfect and since I am a regular here, they remember my name/face and what drinks I usually order, lol. I actually do not come here anymore to study because it seems as if EVERYONE wants to study here nowadays. I can never find a place to sit and there is very limited outlets to plug in your laptop charger. I usually just go to the Starbucks off Mission/Tamarack whenever I need a place to study but this location is wonderful regardless.

This is the WORST starbucks by far that I've been to, sadly. I stopped by after lunch for an iced coffee . The parking lot is weirdly shaped, so just because where you turn and watch out for people that drive around. I walk in and there wasn't anybody really around since it was post lunch. The interior of the store is actually huge, one of the biggest ones that I've been to. But the thing was, service wasn't there at all. The staff were dressed like teenagers out of high school and not in uniform. Everybody had something different, nothing like what chains are suppose to be- consistent. The guy who took my order was quick, except very touchy. He saw my over sized watch and started to touch my hand and my watch, VERY uncomfortable and over baring. I don't even think that's legal for him to be touching customers. It took about 10 minutes to make an iced coffee and a iced black tea for some reason and the staff seemed honestly not to care. Meanwhile this was going on, an elder lady who bought a Starbucks parfait was complaining that the parfait wasn't filled to the top compared to all the other ones and honestly, I saw it and it wasn't. But a staff member brushed her off and told her she was wrong and that's what she gets. She continued to push until he said, fine I'll give it to you this one time and not another. Now, since when, especially at a CHAIN STARBUCKS is the customer wrong about their order. People don't pay 5 dollars for a cup of coffee or cup of yogurt to have you tell me that I'm wrong and you're right. Absolutely no customer service. Now as I was heading out.. this man in a suit chased after me outside of the Starbucks. I assume he was just soliciting inside for potential victims because he was trying to sell me a pyramid scam. Gave me shit when I said I had work and I just walked off. Not sure about the safety of this location either, even though it's location center of a busy plaza so watch out for that guy. I will not be returning to this location, ever.

out of decaf? how? it's not even 10am. when i was a barista i made sure we were never even "low" on anything we had stocked in house, let alone "out." starbucks consistently disappoints me. i think im just spoiled so much by the amazing Philz coffee and their outstanding customer service that starbucks just doesn't cut it anymore. last time i went to a different starbucks they were out of honey. not to mention they teamed up with monsanto. only the soy is organic. terrible. my last trip here -

The barista are friendly, drinks are well made, fast. This is my favorite place to come to study and drink a cup of coffee whenever I come back home from college. Baristas are awesome, not afraid to strike up a conversation, to share their favorite drinks, etc. Pros: * Great Spot to study * Lots of big tables, available outlets against the wall * Fast, efficient barista * Plenty of sofas and seats * Clean & well kept Cons: * Local highschool nearby, they can gets rowdy when they get out of school (around 3:30pm)

I've been here a couple times, but today worst costumer service ever!! The only decent nice one was the guy with the glasses and the chick with blonde hair underneath. The girl doing the drinks was rude and I could hear her talking about how she couldn't make my drink, and she have me a dirty look once I grabbed my drink. I order a ice earl grey tea latte. Terrible and I've had this drink before the ice was melted!

Lots of power outlets for laptops and very spacious (so that you're not elbow to elbow with other Starbuck's-goers... as can happen at some other locations). I don't drink coffee, so I don't know if it that part of the equation is good or not, but I do usually have a black tea lemonade. Can't really screw that one up.... BUT for some reason, they seem to run out of lemonade quite often. It kind of sucks when that's the only thing I drink. Having it with apple juice just isn't the same. It's just too sweet. So there's my two cents. Oh, and FYI, one of the plugs on the outlet closest to the bathroom doesn't work. Other than that, it's clean, the employees are nice, and it has a lot of windows.

This is my absolute favorite Starbucks place here in Fremont so far. Friendly, accommodating and they always get my drinks right (meaning they taste super delicious). It is also very convenient that they have a drive through and you don't have to get out of your car. Love it!

Got my 1/2 price Frappuccino today Th 5/13/10. It's good thru Sun 5/16 from 3-5pm Happy Hr. I got a Tall Coffee Frappuccino w/ non-fat milk, double blended, no whip. Regular price is $2.94, but 1/2 off only $1.47. Plus I used my FREE $5 gift card that I won so it was FREE. Still have .93 cents left. Hope to go to another Starbucks tomorrow and only pay .54c for a Tall Frappuccino! Tip: They still have Green Tea Frappuccino (others got it), just not on the menu, weird. Yippee!

Let me preface this by stating: I love this specific Starbucks. The people who work here are great, it's roomy, lots of tables, and close to where I live. They even have a conference room that you can reserve for group meetings! And as if this wasn't enough, they even let my store my road bike inside. Everything screams 4-5 stars here except..... The Internet here is horrid. I just did a speed test and the upload speed is .09 Mbps. Serious? There's nothing worse about biking to a cafe, setting up your workspace in preparation for a productive day... only to find that you probably have to move to another location. My hopes is something can be done to remedy this. If you're looking for a place to work and need reliable wifi, I can't recommend this location. If you don't need wifi, then I highly recommend you checking this place out. *update* asked the manager if they could do anything about the wifi and he said no.

There was only 1 barista working because of the upcoming holiday, which seems counterintuitive. I ordered 3 drinks: 1 americano, 1 coffee, and 1 decaf coffee. It took 10 minutes to get the decaf. I wish our barista had told us she had to brew another batch. That being said, she was the only person working, so it is what it is. If I had known it was going to take so long, I would have just gone back to my family's house and made coffee there.

TIP #1: Important stuff: the outlets are along the wall, there is no code required for the restroom, and the baristas are friendly. TIP #2: High schoolers like to hang out here after school, so come before 4PM if you want to snag a table or drink your cup of joe in peace. This is my local Starbucks because it is the closest one to where my parents live. I didn't grow up here, but it is a familiar cafe. Several years ago, I was one of those dreaded high schoolers hanging out with my friends, sipping on a frappucino. That was back when there was a huge couch in this Starbucks. Now there are two long tables for communal workspace, a few round tables that can barely fit a laptop, and soft couch-chairs with coffee tables in front of them. There are patio tables too, and it's nice when it's sunny. It's a great place to people-watch! All different types of people from the diverse town that is Union City show up here and stay anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours (I've been here for 5 hours before!). Sit back and relax.

Ugh today was my last straw. I wanted a java chip and strawberry and creme frap. One of the girls kept giving me attitude. Ex: As I reached for a drink i thought was mines. "That's not yours". Not welcoming and friendly, I'm just going to go to the Starbucks inside Safeway a few stores down. I keep forgetting there's a better Starbucks in there that makes java chip that actually tastes like it, not caramel tasting like the one I have now.

One of the better Starbucks in Fremont (there are many of them). The staff is friendly, helpful, and get your orders correct without an attitude. They leave you with a true Starbucks experience. Complete opposite to the Fremont and Tamayo street Starbucks.

I don't know what it is about this Starbucks but it is always crazy! They do a good job of keeping the tables clean but they only stock 1 section of the 3 section sugar/cream area which is annoying. The one thing this Starbucks does that is more awesome than any Starbucks I've seen and fixes what is usually a huge pet peeve of mine is they somehow know what hot food item you ordered and actually BRING IT TO YOU! Amazing! I am so over most Starbucks where the drinks come out one side but the food comes out somewhere else making you run around to collect your stuff. This place has figured it out and for that they get 4 stars even though the baristas here are kinda leisurely shall we say...

I really like how spacious this Starbucks is. I usually come here on Fridays after work while waiting for the boy to get back to the area to kick it, so around 6:30. The spots near the far wall are normally taken, so outlets can be kind of hard to come by, but it's not terrible. The baristas are really nice&they never mess up my order. It's a pretty chill place to study. Coffee, power outlets, wifi, and lots of tables. What more could you ask for? If you find the ambiance too loud, just bring some earphones and play your own music.

Please be aware if your looking for good service and a good cup of coffee, then don't come here!!! The workers are very ride uptight and inconsiderate... Andrew and the other guy who has big ugly gauges in his ears talk down to you. I never came an a employee who talks to you like your an idiot. Andrew seems to think he's better than everyone and acts like a know it all. Oh and the fuck with the gauges burnt my mouth on purposes and didn't even apologize.

I like this starbucks cuz its big and spacey. Doesn't get too crowded, unless Logan just gets out of school. Could use more plugs.. other than that, it's a nice study/chill spot.

Larger than most ones. But it is only one side door and facing west. So when sun sets, it is really uncomfortable to sit around a table with your laptop. You cant see anything on the screen

Workers here always provide fast and friendly service. My drinks here always come out consistent! Only thing that sucks about this location is that you can't study here unless you blast music your music through your headphones, there are always highschoolers here being highschoolers. Great place to grab and go, surf the web, chat. Not so great for studying.

Friendly service Efficient team Good coffee Spacious/clean Plenty of standard and soft seating *** More outlets than your average Bux Designated waiting location for America's Tire customers ;D

This starbucks is great. Mostly just because the staff are really friendly, helpful, and tolerant. I've been here several times. I've watched some crazy stuff go down here -- like people throwing full cups of coffee at the staff -- and they dealt with it very professionally. I mean, they didn't follow the person out, threaten to murder their parents and/or kids, or case them down with a baseball bat, so I guess they took it better than I would have. Aside from that, it's a large starbucks with lots of seating, late hours, and a good atmosphere. There's lots of parking. It can get busy, but that feels par for the course at starbucks. Overall, they have a good space and seem very concerned with getting your drink right. That earns this place 5 stars.

This starbucks is pretty awesome. I went here everyday M-F for 4 weeks studying for an upcoming exam. I came pretty early so there were always seats. The baristas were awesome, very quick and efficient in what they do. There are A LOT of table space, probably 10 small tables that seats up to 2, 4 that seats up to 4, and a lot of couch space. They also have a fairly clean bathroom. The reason for no 5 stars is based on the minor negatives. At about 3PM til... 7PM, comes the raid of high school students from Logan that need an after school hang out spot (at starbucks, really?). They just group up at Starbucks to chat and mingle and they can get quite loud, especially the girl giggling about boys. Another negative, which is honestly a minor one, is that one time I witnessed a robbery here. A man snatched a laptop out of another guy's hand and ran out immediately. It was weird because there's typically always police/security around (this is near the police station) but just so happen that during the robbery the police were gone. It's not like it happens often, but just be aware of situations like this.

I emailed the following to corporate: This is in regard to multiple visits over the last 1.5 years. I wanted to take the time to recognize one of your outstanding associates at this location: Andrew. He is bright, friendly, remembers your name and your drink, and is very personable. He takes the time to make an excellent coffee drink and remembers from the prior year that I loved skinny peppermint mochas and to inform me that they were back. You are extremely lucky to have him as an associate. He definitely brightens the day! Now, about this Starbucks location: I really like the how they remodeled this location. Before, it was rather hard to find comfy seats to sit in if one wanted to sip coffee, read the paper, or just chat with friends. Also, most of the tables were taken up for long periods of time with people using their laptops. Since the remodel, I can sit in one of the numerous comfy chairs by the windows or sit at one of the tables designed to maximize the space by having many "laptops" at one location.

I ordered a caramel brulee frappe with no whip. It tasted watered down compared to the way I had it at other Starbucks locations. The service is alright though, one of the baristas is really nice and energetic. The other baristas just look like they hate their lives.

I like this Starbucks, particularly for the study atmosphere. Nice and wide open to sprawl your books and laptop about. Everything else is typical to starbucks: drinks, music, decor, but I would choose it over many others because of its large size. Even though large, it can still become crowded during peak hours/midterms/exam time, so still be cautious of that!

I don't like Starbucks very much. I think they're overpriced and since I live in Union City, I'd prefer to go somewhere like Paddy's. Having said that, this is still my favorite Starbucks. My mom always used to take me to this Starbucks before school because it was close to Logan. The baristas in the morning knew us and our orders, and got them perfect each time. (That's saying a lot since my mom and I are both picky about our coffee.) They also make conversation and seem to really enjoy their jobs. The baristas in the afternoon are also really nice! This store is ALWAYS clean and is huge. The customers are also polite enough to keep the noise level down. I can always count on this Starbucks if I need to get something done, which is more than I can say for the one in Union Landing.

I can sum this place up in two words... LAPTOP HEAVEN. ------ + Pro: Plenty of places to plug up your laptop. - Con: All available power can all be occupied, sometimes. ( ^_^) Overall: Awesome place to just hang out, use your laptop, and enjoy some coffee while your at it!

Love the service here. The ambiance outside is depressing, but inside it is nice. Why only four stars? There is this annoying speaker right above the sofa. You can't sit here if you want to have a conversation with anyone or if you don't want music blaring in your ears. Back to the service. I wanted a refill of decaf (yes I'm getting old, I admit that), and they had just dumped it. Apparently after a certain time, they don't brew decaf anymore. So they made me a fresh decaf Americano! At the refill price! Lots of people studying here and it was very quiet. There is also a flat screen TV in the background showing the music that is playing.

I like to study here. The ambiance is pretty nice and the people who work here are cool except that one guy with the shaved head. hes kinda rude. I usually just get regular coffee, nothing fancy. and then i put a crap load of sugar and stuff in it. if you bring your own to go mug they charge you for the small size. pretty cool. I wish they had paper recycling here. I usually sit against the wall and hog up a whole 4 person table cuz of all my nursing books. if you ask nicely ill let you sit with me or steal the other chairs off the tables. I try not to come to this one on sundays tho because EVERYONE AND THEIR GRANDMA comes here on sundays after church to get actually good coffee compaired to HomeTown Barf-ett. you have to grab the pointless keys to go use the restroom. For everyhour im there i use the bathroom at least 6 times. clean bathrooms tho.

I really like this starbucks. It'll be my new GO TO spot for studying or getting work done when I'm off site. It doesn't get too crowded like the Newark Starbucks and it's super spacious.

Love the service and workers here. Lani, Lizette, Jennel, and others always offer smiles, awesome service and really makes your time at Starbucks short or long worth it. I study here quite often, and I love the mix of different cultures and socio-economic classes. The workers are very professional, and will turn down the music if its too loud, and I often see them cleaning the lobby area and the bathrooms. The workers are exceptionally helpful and I feel very close to many of them as a result of their willingness to talk to customers such as myself and introducing me to new Starbucks products. Definitely a part of the local Union City community, and the large space area creates a place that many people can come to study and enjoy their coffee with friends. I wish there were more sofas and less austere looking chairs tho.

My work day Buckys. Im here a few times a month for a latte fix when I need it. Parking in this shopping center sucks my elbow but it is down the way. The Barristas are nice and chit chat it up. Buckys Hottie Ian works there so there is some cutie eye candy to check out when your waiting on your drink. I would say YEP a good Starbucks to check in and check out!

Actually, 3.5 stars. Overall, this location has super friendly workers, no matter what time of day or however busy it is. I really like this aspect. I also like the fact that this spot has a huge seating area both inside and outside. Conveniently located next to the UC BART Station, I've stopped by several time early in the morning to grab a cup of coffee. The service has always been fast and efficient at this early time of day. The only reason why I'm giving this location a 3.5 is because I've had burnt coffee and espresso shots and overheated drinks several times when they weren't busy. I'll keep coming back to this place but only when I'm in the area and really want a SB fix.

The baristas are really nice, they know how to make delicious frapps, and I love the decor. However, lately there have been a lot of creepy homeless beggars that come in and ask people for money, or nag you as you walk in, so it makes me a little uncomfortable to be there. But of course I'll still go for some free wifi and to charge my cellphone.

Even though I go to this shopping plaza all the time, but I've never stepped foot into this Starbucks location simply because I have another one closer to home. But boy am I glad that I did today. This Starbucks is huge!! it didn't look like it from the outside, but once I opened the door expecting a tiny store, but there were a lot of seating space inside, and very specious. The baristas seem to be friendly. It was great to enjoy a yummy frap on such a hot day!

Twice I ordered my norm Cafe Mocha for my morning commute... Everytime proofed to be a mistake and makes me wonder if the people works there like coffee at all... The espressio flavor was weak and the drink tastes like water down hot chocolate. Yike. I ended up throw my drinks out.

While I'm not a fan of studying in a public place other than a library, this Starbucks seems to be perfect to do so. It is much larger than the average Starbucks and is less crowded. I bet most of the people go to the Starbucks at Union Landing (blah). Unlike other Starbucks, the majority of the staff here are regulars and are very nice. There is lots of parking although I wouldn't suggest females park far after dark. My only complaint is that there are usually a few home-challenged people that come in for a quick nap on the chairs.

(4)Lesley M.

(3)Kara C.

(5)Veronica C.
(1)Denise G.
Very spacious and has ample seating compared to most Starbucks! Just make sure you come here before 3pm if you want to read or study. Starting around 3pm it starts to get flooded with teens since it is close to Logan highschool and they can be super chatty.
(3)Tony N.
(4)Jennifer H.
(4)Noelle G.
Staff here is always nice and friendly. Tons of space inside, a few outdoor options. The fountain in the common area is nice during sunny days to enjoy your coffee. I have always received my ordered and it has always tasted like I expected.
(4)Chlyde F.
(5)Po B.
The staff is nice with a smile on their faces for most of the time, but the service needs improvement. Being less chatty either between them or with the customers would help speed up the service. For that reason alone, I prefer to go to Starbucks at Safeway. No line, no wait!
(3)Christine V.

(2)Justin F.
(5)Mychael H.
I love their Gingerbread Latte it's so good to have over the winter time that's my favorite Latte.
(5)Alexander A.
Cheers!
(4)Christopher D.
I am just going to say something short and sweet about this one Starbucks ! This place is the SH%T!!! These guys go above and beyond for my family especially for my 5yr old daughter ! I will go out of my way just to go to this one Starbucks . The whole crew is awesome and very friendly . I am done .......
(5)Kristine L.

I will not be returning to this location, ever.

out of decaf? how? it's not even 10am. when i was a barista i made sure we were never even "low" on anything we had stocked in house, let alone "out." starbucks consistently disappoints me. i think im just spoiled so much by the amazing Philz coffee and their outstanding customer service that starbucks just doesn't cut it anymore. last time i went to a different starbucks they were out of honey. not to mention they teamed up with monsanto. only the soy is organic. terrible. my last trip here -
(1)Fred L.
A good Starbucks. Quiet enough to work, which is what most customers seem to be doing. Plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and will sometime suggest things re: your order.
(3)Eric C.
(5)K J.
Great environment and great service. This place is usually packed. They have a large sitting and studying area which I like. Very diverse crowds come in here. There's just a couple of people working back there, but they are always busy working and my drink is always very good here.
(5)Karla C.
(1)Vi T.
(4)Eri H.
This is my absolute favorite Starbucks place here in Fremont so far. Friendly, accommodating and they always get my drinks right (meaning they taste super delicious). It is also very convenient that they have a drive through and you don't have to get out of your car. Love it!
(5)Ann L.
Yippee!
(4)Victor H.
(3)Vicky T.
someone (not me) was a cranky pants who needed some coffee after driving back from Redding. Overall short line, friendly staff, (another) bathroom break and we were on our way.
(4)Ambar C.
(3)Sarah P.
Lani, Lizzie, Janell, and Diane are awesome. Service is the best here, it's a big starbucks, always stocked with goodies. On a nice day, you can sit outside. It's not the prettiest but there's a fountain
(5)Amy H.
(4)Rita K.
(2)Akin B.
One of the better Starbucks in Fremont (there are many of them). The staff is friendly, helpful, and get your orders correct without an attitude. They leave you with a true Starbucks experience. Complete opposite to the Fremont and Tamayo street Starbucks.
(4)Jason D.
(4)Amy L.
(4)Michele S.
(1)Andrea C.
I like this starbucks cuz its big and spacey. Doesn't get too crowded, unless Logan just gets out of school. Could use more plugs.. other than that, it's a nice study/chill spot.
(4)Vegg C.
Larger than most ones. But it is only one side door and facing west. So when sun sets, it is really uncomfortable to sit around a table with your laptop. You cant see anything on the screen
(4)Albert H.
(4)Rick G.
Friendly service Efficient team Good coffee Spacious/clean Plenty of standard and soft seating *** More outlets than your average Bux Designated waiting location for America's Tire customers ;D
(4)Russell P.
(5)Willis C.

(5)Sunny G.
Ofcourse not much change in menu/taste or service. However low star for small space and often crowded one.
(2)Mariena F.
Very nice staff this morning - 11/21/12
(5)Brenda M.
I ordered a caramel brulee frappe with no whip. It tasted watered down compared to the way I had it at other Starbucks locations. The service is alright though, one of the baristas is really nice and energetic. The other baristas just look like they hate their lives.
(3)Chris C.
(4)Jonathan J.
The stuff is great & the coffe's is great... i love this starbucks!!!
(4)Brande B.
Nice Starbucks close to my house. Drinks taste as they should, but the only issue may be finding parking.
(4)Beatrice E.
(5)Asif S.
I found this place very peaceful and calm. The service was outstanding, and treat the customer very well. The wifi is very good, so i ll always prefer this place to for my spare time to come and enjoy it.. in short the environment is very good.
(5)Michelle G.
Larger than your typical Starbucks. Multiple cashiers, line moves fast. No complaints!
(4)James N.
(4)Tiffany K.
(4)Katrina G.
Great customer service! Always smiling and always makes my drink correctly!
(5)Katie F.
(4)Diana P.
I really like this starbucks. It'll be my new GO TO spot for studying or getting work done when I'm off site. It doesn't get too crowded like the Newark Starbucks and it's super spacious.
(4)Helicon K.
(5)Michelle C.
(3)Dawn L.
(4)Raven B.
(3)Henry S.
This is one of the BIGGEST Starbucks I've been in. This place had to have been about 1500 square ft. wow.
(3)Lulu S.
(4)Eegnam A.
The staff here is always friendly and the drinks come out fast. There are plenty of tables inside and outside to sit down and enjoy your coffee/drink.
(4)Gurdial G.
This branch has a nice setting inside. Pretty good seating space. Haven't dealt with the staff too much but they are pretty helpful
(4)May C.
(2)Jose Alicia L.
Great customer service! Very friendly! Fast & efficient! Wonderful atmosphere! Love it!
(5)Ninja C.
(4)Dijon Y.
This one is roomy and there's a lot of tables but not that many outlets. The wifi speed is about medium for a starbucks, not bad at all, but not as good as the starbucks in elk grove, but mayb
(3)Alvin L.
not a big fan of the company since I don't believe in paying anything more than $2 for a cup of coffee that is rated lower than your local gas station coffee but the customer service is always great
(2)
